Harry Plaisted: Park at the car park situated by a pebbly beach, at the far end of the car park you will find a path that you follow for about a 5 minute walk leading you to a picturesque blue lagoon. you can enter the waters at one end and swim in the calm tidal waters. It can be a little cold to start with and I had a wet suit on, but swim to the other side of the lagoon and there is a man made ruin which is a perfect spot for jumping in. Warning only jump from the highest point at high tide.

Karen Biles: A great spot. Flat calm the day we were there, cold but I braved it in my swimsuit whilst my hubby was in his shortie wetsuit. Need something on your feet as the ground is broken up bits of slate. Amazing swim. Neither of us were brave enough to jump!
Easy path up to the quarry. Little bit of a scramble over the slate to get down to the waters edge but well worth it. Take great care if you decide to jump. Goes deep quite quickly so keep an eye on the little ones. Used by local coasteering groups so, apparently, gets very busy in the summer/on hot days.
