Frances Kearney: The beach in my village at Cley next the sea is wonderful for swimming - gets deep quickly - and has great phosphoresence later in summer and I have been a daily dipper for years.
You can walk from Cley beach along the shingle to the sandy dunes at the end of the spit - Blakeney Point where there is a seal colony ... tres beautiful.
Rose Mason: Nice sea for swimming as waves were calm and didnt break far out. Shingle beach meant the sea was quite clear. The beach is massive and long, so the swim is nice but maybe a bit boring because of the sea being so vast. Pretty views though. You have to pay for the car park near the beach I think £2.50 for a couple of hours but it goes to a local nature charity. Nice to find a swimming spot near Blakeney because the estuary there isn't deep enough. 7/10 would recommend good sea for swim
