Janetta Harvey: Quiet, shingle beach stretches for miles. Located at the end of a quiet country lane, plenty of parking available in car park with small snack bar serving decent tea, fields all around, very pleasant & easy to find spot.
Huge shingle beach stretching miles so good for distance swimming parallel along the length of it. Rather blowy on the beach but safe for families. Dogs permitted on beach. Presence of groynes allows jumping off and fun swimming. Located between Littlehampton and Bognor Regis, off the A259. Turn into Climping Street, signposted Climping Beach and continue along to the end of this country lane, at the end of which is the car park (for parking pay at the snack bar).
