Louise Cardwell: A small fresh water lochan, very dark and peaty water, surprisingly pleasant to swim in.
Located on the Sustrans cycle route 7, and easily accessed from the A85 with a small layby close to the north end of the Lochan.
Helen Conway: Small lochan, also known as Loch Lairig Eala.
Small car park off main road leading to a small, boggy beach. A little bit reedy in places, but the water is super clean. Dark peaty brown. Surrounded by trees, a really lovely swim.
Sadly there was quite a bit of litter around. It appears to be well used for camp fires.
