Wildswim: Grade II listed in January 1999 as one of the finest surviving examples of a 1930s lido left in the UK. It measures 70m x 30m and was fitted with a unique steel lining in 2005 which twinkles at swimmers as they plough up and down, changing the colour of the water with the daylight, from pale green and pale blue to silvery grey. Wonderful geometric simplicity and open all year. Unheated (sometimes known as Hampstead Heath Lido)

Kate Rew: Home to many a great OSS event: on the first Saturday of December, hundreds of OSS members take the plunge here in their bikinis and trunks for the OSS December Dip, and in the summer the lido hosts the OSS Midsummer Party.
One of the few lidos to be open for winter swimming, until midday throughout winter.
Sarah Thelwall: superb lido. love the metal liner and i'd swear this is the softest water i've swum in for ages. Cafe will supply various snacks, none healthy but who cares :)
