An brilliant section of the Langstrath Beck as it cascades into a small ravine with high rock walls and a deep pool. Exellent for a dip or a fifty yard swim. In summer the waters are warmed by their slow journey down the valley and can reach "bath temperature" after a week or two of summer sun.

The swim is a great reward for the two mile walk up the valley or could form part of a longer valley or fell walk locally.
