There is ramped access to the lake. Stephen, who has been there with friends who helped him transition from chair to water, said, " A yoga mat might be helpful to sit on when shuffling into the lake as the floor is rough and uneven and could break skin." Water is shallow near the walls and if you can't feel your feet he recommends slipping on shoes or neoprene socks to protect your feet. He thinks that if on your own it looks possible to position your wheelchair against the stairs nearest hte sea wall and use the frame of the stairs to help get up and into the chair.
