Quiet spot on river Little Ouse near sluice and aqueduct where river crosses cut-off channel. 5-10 minutes walk from parking. Park at the top of Moor Drove, off Station Road or further down where track goes left. Or walk down Church Lane then common from Hockwold. Small gravel and clay/chalk beach on edge other side of trees from sluice

Environment Agency sign says no swimming - strong currents and deep water, but this refers to near the sluice. Might be fishers and boats.
