There is a very pleasant bay tucked under Hope's Nose but to get to it you have to scramble down a path that is not really a path and then across the rocks. This is absolutely not for anyone who is not 1/2 goat.

It is a very pleasant swim of itself, very sheltered on anything other than a southerly breeze and makes a good place from which to swim to Thatcher Rock.
