Superb loch; swim in still black water among overhanging trees. Access it via the Three Lochs Forest Drive. There is a picnic spot with picnic tables and parking spaces for just two cars.

A scenic stop off on the "Three Lochs Drive" this lake has many accessible entry points off a needle strewn path through pine forests. The water is a peaty red when shallow, dropping quickly to glassy black. Beautiful and refreshing.

Another easy access point for Loch Drunkie is from the 'forest drive' parking near the wild camping area at NN542041

Wonderful rich peaty water, we found a small beach just round from the main picnic area and waddled in after a scramble down the hillside. Heartily recommended for a swim, one of the best I've done. Some folks were fishing from at one of the picnic stops on Three Lochs Drive so watch out for lines and hooks.
