Limited access to the lochside for swimming and involves a bit of a scramble down to small beach areas to the north of Stronachlachar. Stunning views. The Pier Cafe provides welcome post-swim cuppa and cakes with lovely views from the conservatory. If you've time it's worth walking to The Royal Cottage and exploring the shafts and obelisks which mark the underground route of water heading from Loch Katrine towards Glasgow.
