Great Loch with an Island with castle in the middle which you can explore. Beach end with shallow water suitable for children and leisure. 1 mile swim to castle from beach but can then swim to closer bank if don't want to do return.

Fantastic scenery and mountains. Used for endurance training. Water temp about 12 degrees max in summer

No facilities. Very peaceful and calm but rarely any other people unless hot day when there may be people on beach end or fishermen. Midges abundant so spectators need to beware
