A popular spot for families this ford is shallow with some deeper sections further upstream. As you look at the ford with the footbridge on the right there's a rope swing, if you walk left from there and a fallen tree you come to a patch where its chest high so deep enough to bomb into.

    Lush swim, would recommend swim shoes as the rocks hurt, lots of dog walkers and not too cold, strong current and not too deep. Rope swings about but you have to get wet to get to them.
