Description by Wildswim who added this swim

Portishead Open Air Pool aka Portishead Lido is an open air pool built in 1962, 33m x 12.5, with stunning views of the Severn estuary and saved from closure by the local community in 2008. It is heated from April to September and in 2014 for the first time we introduced cold water swimming sessions on Saturday mornings from late September. We have a Facebook group for cold water swimming https://www.facebook.com/groups/685785994851626/
