    Fenwick has this covered- lovely little swim where you can still touch the bottom most of the time. Current wasn’t strong when we swam here- just had a dip but you could swim quite a distance if you fancied it. Watch the hotel opposite if you’re changing shoreside!

    Exactly as Fenwick and Pixie describe. When I went (May, no heavy rain recently), the water was no more than chest-height and the current was gentle. A really lovely, peaceful place where you can swim a long way - I will be coming back,
